For all the new peopple out there

[Most of you know this already, but some people -like me- dont]

Just want to let you know, there is no way to increase your speed in a short amount of time. PLYOMETRICS is just a supplement to it, not a magic that will make you fast.

What happened to me was when i first discovered plyometrics, i thought doing them a lot will make me really fast in a short amount of time, so i do them every single freaking day, until one day, i wondered why the heck am i getting slower. So i went online, read a couple articles, and realized the catastrophe that i had unleashed upon myself. I was so sad i decided to quit track. After months of reading and reasearching in this forum, i am now prepare to start my training before track season starts in february.

Oops got a lil off topic here.

ANYWAYS, my point is dont rush into things, read read and read on this forum, and dont skip some paragraphs jsut because its long, they may be crucial points, and do not ever overtrain. do not ever overtrain. do not ever overtrain. do not ever overtrain. My idiotic coach overtrains me and i overtrained myself too, so i learned my lesson. do not ever overtrain.

Peace,

A high school athlete
