What are some things to look for with your first massage? I’ve had some quad tightness and had massage work done this morning and the therapist didn’t work too deep. She worked the origins and insertions a lot, didn’t get too deep in the muscle belly. Also, worked the quadriceps and patellar tendon (i’ve had pain on lateral side of patella). I feel ok, still feel quad tightness. Just don’t know what to look for in the first session and what i should expect. Any help here?
