Fast weights

The neural cross over from using fast weights eg. >50% 1RM for several reps, to track is too small to bother about, with the exception of oly lifts. However, won’t fast weights of >50% 1RM still have the value of converting type IIa to type IIb? This assuming that heavy reps of 3-5 do not force this conversion and may actually convert type IIb to type IIa…I still find this hard to believe but from threads on this forum and Dr. Squats recently it has hardly been argued against.

Sorry. Regarding the above post I actually meant around or less than 50% 1RM.

I was wondering - Westside use around 60% as their mark for strength vs power - don’t they?
