Falling Hips

This is a problem I seem to be having!
For years I havent really worked on raising my hips when sprinting (didnt even know that was what I should be doing untill this forum) so about a year ago I started developing that ability, I have success not only can I get into it but I can hold it for the sprint. My problem is I cant hold it for the next rep (I train 400 so there is a lot of work, in the one session), I dont really want to be running with this change in form, but then I need to run!!!

And its december, indoor season coming very soon so cant really afford to be skipping elements of training, does anyone know any exercises to specifically improve my ability to stay (remember I can get there)?

I would suggest doing marching A-Drills over long distances, around 100m or so on tempo days.

By ‘marching’ A-Drill i basically mean like regular A-Skips but you don’t leave the ground as such at full ankle extension. Doing these concentrating on lifting the hips and maintaining posture should develop the required endurance to maintain position in the longer sprints.
