Extremely Sore

Yesterday I lifted weights well kind of and I know I lifted to heavy beacause it was somewhere aroun my max. After that I sat down on the leg curl machine and wasn’t planning on using it just sitting down but then started doing the curl excercise but I really wasn’t paying attention. To make a long story short I am extremely sore and is there any way to reduce the soreness.

Tiger balm, Myoplex, hot bath and maybe a massage. Perhaps some light cardio can help as well. That usually does the trick for me.

If you are already sore is it safe to lift weights or should I wait till it passes.

might want to wait a bit if you don’t want to risk injury… but probably not necessary to wait until the soreness is completely gone.

try GO! drinks…i use them during and after exercise…

You CAN lift, but cautiosuly - it depends on the degree of soreness and the type of exercise you are doing.
