EMS-Strength modus and calve-treatment

hey,

the ones who know about EMS definetly know what questions comes… :stuck_out_tongue:

If i m using EMS in a strength modus i do it just with isometric contractions, but the calves always contract concentrically (bc they "are forced to  )

I tried to hold them and to avoid it…

How do you guys do this?

I read someone posting that CF said that EMS is just for large muscle groups, but i think the calves are very important, or?

You could try doing them standing, that should stop them concentrically contracting.

If it doesn’t, set the ramp time as low as possible, turn on a video camera and then post the video on here. People falling over is always funny

great idea(the vid  )

You can use them on claves also

If you try to use them on the calves, put on the electrodes, then get into a calf stretch position (leaning against a wall) then turn on the unit. This should help…
