Differences in training programs between the 100 and the 200.

Hey guys, I did a search on this before but couldnt find anything.

What are the main differences between training a 200 meter specialist to a 100 meter specialist?

I have a friend who runs about 11.60 FAT but 22.85 FAT in the 200m. Would you say he is better suited to the 200?

I would like to see some sample programs and training principles for the typical 200meter runner.

ie: Is tempo used less in the 200m runners program? speed endurance is accented and longer speed/interval training but by how much etc?

I am really curious about the different systems targeted and the volume as well.
