cool downs in competition

I was wondering what you guys suggest for cool downs in competitions. As an example; lets say athlete A is in high school, he has 100 heats, hour off, 200 heats, hour and a half off, 100 final, forty minutes and 200 final. What would you guys suggest be used for cool down between and after the races?

Lap jog and stretch… after meet 800 jog stretch possibly ice.

Keep warm, light strides, rest & then pick up the intensity again closer to the next race. Do not over do the stretching between rounds.

After the meet - full warmdown. Jog, stretch, ice bath (if possible)/ contrast shower.
