130kg attempts x 4. I didn’t make it! The platform was moved to upstairs right behind the elliptical machines. I just couldn’t go all out knowing that I had nowhere to run if the weight got away from me. Oh well…next time…next time!

That Stargate Atlantis show is pretty sweet. I saw a rerun on late at night recently. One of the girls was really smokin’. Even if you don’t get face time in the episodes, maybe you can pick up some ladies. :smiley:

Ya it is one of my fav shows. The main cast are all “beautiful people”. It is rather amazing to see them all up close. And, they are all really cool people, and funny. I have to make sure not to crack up in between takes cause they are always cracking jokes. It is awesome.

-Jogged the length of the field.
-Stretches
-Stretchy Cord things: I took the grey one.
-about 20 reps of biceps, tris, shoulders x 3 times though
-leg abduction with cord thingy x 3 x 10 reps and then same thing pretty much, only on a back angle to get the glutes.
-circuit thingy: 45 seconds at various stages. The Plank, Cross country skiiing, sit-ups on swissball, squats with a 5 lbs medball, push-ups, squat jumps, shoulder shrugs, crunches on swissball, calf raises, the plank only in the push up position. END.
-Then, we went for a skip/run for 5 minutes.
-Next, LINES with various exercises on the way back.
-Then, a tonn of hip flexor work.
-Then cool down stretch.

FINIS

PowerClean workout.
Almost got 130kg up. 4 attempts. Went to a party afterwards.

I made it 4 months. I have had a few drinks lately. More than none. I suppose I really am just a looser. That’s ok though. I am renewing my vows here and now. No more booze, not even the odd beer at my book club www.nigglings.com. It feels too good to live sober.

Why for 4 years? I actually stopped all alcohol for 6 years but I didn’t plan that time in advance.

4 years is long enough that it will be significant, but not an eternity. My great grandmother said that booze was cheaper than medication, so I have to keep that option open for when I am older. :slight_smile:

Me doing 105kg demo for my athletes. Rule #1: Do as I say, not as I do. I didn’t warm up. Luckily I was fine. What was I thinking. Put a camera in front of me and I will do almost anything.
