Celar spike plate flexibility

I’ve found celars 1 for very cheap. They aren’t described as flexible by nike but celars 2 are (different plates?). Does anyone know if they flex, and allow for toe-up.

yes these spikes flex well. they have the plastic bottom plate so they aren’t as bendable under mid-foot as the cheap nike zoom rivals but aren’t nearly as stiff as power sprint spikes tend to be.

If the superfly is a 10 in stiffness and the rivals a 1 I would say the celars are about a 3 or 4.

I wore them for the 400m and they were my favorite pair. I had to stop wearing them because I didn’t wear socks in them and my teammates started complaining about the odour after a few years (:

Yeah but if you don’t wear socks it feels like the spikes will fall off when you run. Like a squishy feeling. I didn’t like it.

thx,I did that too. Some people are scared to have me ride with them.

I have the Celar 2s. They are pretty flexible but a lot stiffer than a maxcat. They do help on the turns and stuff. I don’t really know about the origianal celar plate though because I haven’t tried it.
