Dont know about sex being bad for us guys. Bob Beamon reportedly had sex the night before his world record jump, & it didnt affect his performance, unless he was meant to jump 9.20m.
When I saw the heading of this thread I thought, sex and training at the same time.
I know of people who have had sex at the track while nobody else was there.
I read somewhere that it was considered bad for males to have sex and good for females - in relation to sports performance.
Why?
the object to maximizing sex before a race is to have it early in the day…i did my own experiment and had a PR the next day…into a slight head wind…
so now i am ‘stupid-stitious’ no and gotta go and see a head nurse all the time…haha

Sex causes a T spike and hence may increase trainability
