Ill be in the LA area the weekend of march 16-17, just wondering if anyone knew of a quality open meet down there at that time. ill be looking to probably run a 200m in the 21.5-22.0 range.

The Northridge meet in particular, and maybe the Long Beach meet attract decent NCAA D1 athletes. BUT, there’s also a major meet at Arizona the same weekend, and a meet being held at Mt. Sac the previous weekend (Ben Brown), so a bunch of us will not be racing in LA the weekend you’ll be there.
If you can get to San Diego, the Aztec Classic at San Diego State (Mondo track, 3/16" spikes which they DO check, but on top of a parking garage so there are wind issues for records) is a good early season meet. They do signups (number of entries limited) through directathletics.com but they usually take their time doing it.
thanks, yeah probably wont be able to get to arizona or san diego. ive run at long beach before (at a meet during the mt.sac relays). im just looking to run against guys in the mid 21 range, thats hopefully what ill open around.
