Is it correct to assume both feet need to have the heels place compression on the pads in the set position?
there should be a certain amount of pressure against both pads during set. many sprinters try to have an excessive lean and dont realize that it will cause the feet to be just resting on the pads and losing tension.
Yes…in order to feel adequet(sp) tension… when going up into the set position I have found it helpful to think about getting your hips up and back which will allow your feet to push against the block pedals.
