What are the best excersizes for hamstring strength. I hate goodmornings. They don’t feel good and hurt my lower back. I am also too weak to do ghr. Should I just do negatives? I tried negatives today and I felt like I was tearing my hamstring. Is this normal. I also do oly lifts, explosives squats, and snatchgrip deads. Do I need more hamstring excersizes?
I think you have enough there
light box squats are good too - sitting right back shins vertical
I don’t believe oly lifts and squats fully target the hams therefore I’d also try one or more of: reverse leg press (or cable rig up), reverse hypers or back hypers. I also do ham curls for general ham development, but also for step over (which is a very fast movement) but I know not everyone agrees with this.

I do those too. Thanks. I also do rev. hypers. I just never feel much in my hamstrings.
glute ham raises and reverse hypers are two of the best hamstring exercises. If you can’t do a glute ham raise have someone help you out on the concentric part and go slow on the eccentric.

Well you don’t while doing em but they are getting worked, but I see reverse hypers more as a erector and glute exercise myself.
back extensions, especially when done with single legs hits the hams hard too. I do these as a restorative at the end of my workouts as well as for hypertrophy of the posterior chain. I pile on the weight on these, holding the oly bar in my hands, with a collar to collar snatch grip, resting it on the floor between reps to reduce the stretch reflex a bit. Have to use small plates though.
