How far apart should your hands be when you grip the bar if youre doing the bench press for overall strenght? Shoulder width or wider or narrower? Also is it best to rotate between incline and flat bench or just stick with one?
I use shoulder-width grip when I bench; I also tuck my elbows (stronger on the bench that way, less likley to injure your pec/shoulder).
Good reply Cortese, very important not to let your elbows flare out more than say 50 degreeish. Your chances of shoulder injuries skyrocket when your scapula wing like that!
