ok for as long as i have squatted which is about august of last year, i have gotten my 1RM up to 295 now(when i did it i felt a hard contraction on my right hammie). I fluctuate in weight from 170-173 or sometimes 169lbs. my height is 5’9 but i have alot of bodyfat(belly, lovehandles) so i dont know what my lean muscle mass is, if whether its 150lbs or somewhere around there. But my question is for lifting 2 times your bodyweight like in squats do you go by your lean muscle mass or your total weight? which i suppose is 171 if i were to choose a mean.
2 times body weight is two times what it says on a scale. Not some number you pull out the air. So that would be 342lbs for you.
