and another of Polyakova

with regards to the Tyson Gay debate about how big he is, or is Not, these two pix of Polyakova show just how much the camera can distort.

Why do sprinters lunge themselves forward at the very end of a race? Does it really decrease any time at all?? or is it more efficient to just finish holding technique?

If you watch a lot of races they don’t necessary lunge, more poke out their head to try and trip the electronic timer before their entire body clears.

LOL yeah a lot of sprinters don’t really lean, but the poke their head out instead. But that doesn’t win you much when it counts. For me one of the best examples was Kim Collins in 2003, he dipped at the right moment

OK. t’s a typo. It’s also actually the ID attached to the picture when I found it. I didn’t think twice about it, just duplicated to the forum. :o

Any picture for Derrick Atkins in action?

I’ll try and find some more PJ…

J.Gat 5.5 50

The first one says J.Gatlin ran a 5.5 in the 50yd dash. The second caption (if you click next) says 5.5 for 50m. Which one is it? A hs girl ran 6.2. Yikes. It must have been 50yds.
