The problem can often be a MaxV issue more-so than a special endurance issue. For example, everyone talks about FloJo’s stunning 100m endurance but she also had the fastest top speed by far in her era.

She’s having problems with illness or something like that. But I read a article not so long ago were she said she was back in business.

looks like the 8x300 and 12x200 tempo plus the one-legged squats are keeping the wheels of D.Brown relaxed and firing in-line(straight forward and back) despite the monster build. whereas S.Crawford wheels are all over the place
when saying one legged squats, what exactly do you mean flettotenko??? like step ups, lunges, one leg squats (bodyweight like tabata squats??) if you can post a pic I would really appreciate it.
this video, the link above, shows MVP, powells camp, training. Doing some tempo and some weights, one leg squat. Think their coach also says to do deadlift one leg and two leg and one leg squat and they doing the bench too. So with the one leg squats i guess the coach actually means do some one leg step-ups, as Asafa is doing step-ups with 245.
Also, D.Brown is lurking in the backqround when Powell is working out and he is spotting him as well when Powell is benching.
