After reading CFTS i was pretty much overwhelmed by how much recovery and massage was used on athletes. realizing that this essential for preventing injuries i’ve created my own recovery procedure after my workouts. Tell me what you guys think and also maybe some things you’ve tried and got great results from.
1.Cool down (6-10min jog, followed by static stretching)
2. dinner
3. contrast shower
4. ice my hamstrings and quads 15 min on, 15 min off; then repeat. and ice anything else that might be bothering me.
… this is all I’ve got! lol . i’m hoping that all this icing will do the trick! and no, i unfortunately will be getting no massage whatsoever.
