I have read were many track athletes train there abs by doing them in a circuit? Any of you track guys have an example of an ab circuit?
Here is one of mine: (I do the lower abwork first)
Hanging leg raises (3 sets of 20 reps)
Then:
weighted incline situps (45 pound plate)
alt knee situps
med ball situp/overhead toss
V-sits
weighted side bends
repeat above 3-4 times.

here’s what i do on tempo days:
30s on - 30s recovery
Leg raises
Crunches
Side Crunches to the left
Side Crunches to the right
Alternate Knee situps
Isometric leg raise hold
repeat 2-3 times with 2-3min recovery.
