100/200 GPP Weekly Training Template

I am new to the forum and and know there has been several postings regarding sample workouts. In reference to early season training or the GPP period, how many CNS days would be permissable? How much high intensity work can be performed in the GPP period? I have researched sample workouts from McFarlane,Smith, Seagrave, and many others and realize that each coach has there own thoughts and ideas that have prooved successful. I would like to provide two sample weekly ideas and see what you guys think.

Monday - Acceleration Dev., Multi-Jump Circuit, Weights, ABS
Tuesday - Extensive Tempo, ABS
Wednesday - Weights, General Strength Circuit
Thursday - Hills (30-60m), Multi Throw Circuit (Med Ball), ABS
Friday- Run Jump Circuit, Or Tempo, Weights, ABS

Monday- Hills (20-40m, 90%), Multi Jump Circuit, Weights, ABS
Tuesday - Extensive Tempo, ABS
Wednesday- Acceleration Dev., Weights
Thursday- Extensive Tempo, General Strength, ABS
Friday- Stadium Stairs or Hills, Multi Throw Circuit, Weights, ABS

Both would be fine - it all really depends on what follows it and your personal philosophy. If you want to see Charlie’s GPP ideas a 7 week programme is shown on the GPP DVD for all aspects of training (weights, hills, med ball etc).
