1 rep max training

I am a 22year old sprinter who has really only just started to compete properly, I am 5’6 weigh 10 and a half stone. I recently clocked 11.75 (100m) & 23.5 (200m). After a few years of rep training I decided to train using my maximum weight for 1 rep, on each body part, for example on my chest 90kg, bicep curl 20kg and I feel that this has transitioned over to my legs where the only training I do for them is my training on a tuesday & thursday night. From my 200m time it can be seen that my 1st 100m is faster than my 100m flat, people say I am a good bend runner but why is this apparent? I want to get into the 22’s for the 200m & since those races were only my 5 & 6 in my entire life I feel that there is a lot lot more to come, can someone please help me.
