No Allyson Felix. No Veronica Campbell. I’m going for my girl Muna Lee.

What happened with Veronica? I know she got 4th but I thought they were going to throw her in the 100 and bump someone? I must have missed that one. Maybe I am imagining things.

This new puma kit is rather skimpy!

Jamaica strikes again!

shelly drops half a sec
bolt drops half a sec

what is this, swimming ?

this is amazing, I have never seen such PR’s at that level.

My money was on Kerron Stewart, she has so much talent.

She had an unbelievably bad start- behind everyone- then caught up some but it was far too late. the champ had a brilliant start.

Hell yea, did you see her angles ? heck I squat 500 and can’t maintain that starting angle… she’s super strong

Karron run like a man, I like it. Who did you have your money on?

I didn’t. I’m not much for guessing. That said, I do look for patterns and the US team has suffered from the proximity of the trials and this will affect the women most cause it takes longer to recover for them. I saw the 400m semis with the two Americans going out and thought a Jamaican sweep likely. Interesting also how Lauran Williams always makes the most of her circumstances but I’d guess the American girls needed another two weeks.

Well i like gambling, I cant help it. Like i said earlier we must rearrange the usa trails so our athletes have a better chance of performing.

I agree. I guess it’s a fight between spacing the trials away from the NCAAs on one side and
the Olympics on the other.

If they wanted to could they decrease the number of rounds from 4 to 2?

Well three would be the same as Jamaica. That would make a big difference and might make shifting the date slightly earlier a bit easier as the number of qualified NCAA athletes would be greatly reduced as so many at the top are pro.

If they changed the current system to 3 rounds the American athletes wont be prepared for the Olympics. You know, you gotta use the olympic model in order to be successful at the olympics…:stuck_out_tongue: lol. I hope the Jamacians don’t start implementing this idea!

I was thinking Stewart would win. Did anyone notice the huge twitch by Torri Edwards? That should have been called back no?

I’m wondering if it affected the field at all, especially Kerron Stewart, as she was right beside Edwards.

Fraser is great… she opened with 11.7x this year and slowly dropped about a second. Stephen Francis knows how to get them ready.

Hey, does anyone know where I can see the womens final? Thanks
