When Periodizing Training sould you??

Hi everybody, as some of you know I’ve been around a long while and asked questions everytime I’ve come up with something and now I have a new one.

When periodizing and creating a plan, when working the different periods, for example… a Max. Str. mesocycle, where the objective is to work on acceleration and max strength. The idea is to focus on these during a microcycle (week) should the intensification of stimuli, in terms of weights and sprints, increase during the week?? in a sense, maintaining the speed, tempo, speed, tempo, speed end, should the intensity rise steadily, so as to produce an adequate stimulus on the system?

Also, when working acceleration (at least in beginner and intermediate level sprinters) acceleration is usually up to 35-40 metres, what is your opinion of working 60 mts in a 30-40 mt session, since 60 mts is usually a top speed distance??

speed endurance, as mentioned in CFTS is done in very low volume usually 2 runs, I am yet to understand fully if speed endurance is used to train the bodies capacity to maintain form or to prepare the body to process the lactic acid produced during these longer runs, or is it simply to keep the body able to run these distances during a period where speed work is so short??

Hoping I didn’t confuse anyone and expressed myself adequately I thank you all

have no clue what you are asking.

As the weeks progress, should the intensity rise in order to provide more stimulus?

For beginner and intermediate athletes, is it ok to go as far out as 60m in a 30-40m zone sprint session?

Is the purpose of speed endurance to allow the body to process lactic acid on longer runs, allow the body to remain conditioned to full distances when training very short distances in sprint sessions, or is it to practice maintaining form?

yes, exactly thank you r3n3gad3 for that translation

Also, not only as the weeks progress, but also during the week should intensity rise in order to provide more stimulus?

Alex

I’m gonna bump this if anyone has an answer
