Yeah but are rest pauses actually short rest periods between sets or just a single spaced set? :slight_smile:

Main goal of rest pauses is to allow you to use heavier weights for more reps. Which when you think about is the same goal as using longer rest periods between regular sets, ie in rest pausing you are in fact adding rest between reps to allow one to get more reps for a given weight! :slight_smile:
