What would be the best shoe to get for training, not particulary spikes but running shoes.
Converse Chuck Taylors!
Personally I like New Balance M900WO
Do you guys train in spikes? Or do you train in running shoes?
I do as much work as I can barefoot and on grass — if need be, on grass, with sambas, then on a track with sambas (particulary split runs), and only for my Speed Endurance and Max V work do I put on spikes
Ah alright, thanks!
BTW, you have the same exact name as a kid i know, except i doubt you’re that same fruity person
How well do sambas work… that intruiges me.
I am a big fan of the Asics DS Trainer
Today I bought the Nike Air Pegasus 2004 and they’re sweet. Great for underpronators with high arches.
The best training shoe is specific for an individual. My suggestion is to go to your local running shoe store and ask! Any good shoe salesperson should be able to direct you if you would benefit from a motion control shoe, neutral shoe, etc. Also specific types of shoes comes with specific widths (i.e., New Balance) which also is important.
Yeaa that sounds like what I should do now after thinking about it, my feet arent very normal (very wide and no arch whatsoever)
Has anyone got a pair of Adidas’ A3’s?
I’m up for a new pair of shoes
These shoes are for basketball but are extremely light, i ordered a pair and will probably train in them.
Any thoughts?
I use Nike SHOX NZ, Nice and soft, not very light, the other option are the adidas powersprint flats that I have. Picture posted in the optimal sprint spikes discussion.
i think they are cross country shoes… just a lit weight sneaker with spikes really…
read a website that recommend using them for testing vert too!!
That’s fuct!!! I know a guy with that exact name too… He ended up changing his name to Zach Steele or something like that… He lived in the Toronto area. Is this the same guy???
That’s the worst thing you could do… I used to work in a shoe store when I was in high school and I would just make up a bunch of bullshit when people asked me about shoes.
