What to run ? Little help planning ..

So I ran a 11.08 after a small taper on Wednesday … Which is a PR

Wondering how to plan the next 2 meets

This tuesday I have a 200m followed by a 100m (the 100 is an invite)

On the 22nd I have my #2 peak 100m meet.

Should I run both the 200, then the 100m after about 30-60 minutes on TUE or just the 100 ?
I have never done 200+100, sounds like a good practice, but I am not sure if I want to play with practice meets at this stage.

If the meet is important stick to the 100m otherwise do both because it’s great SE work.

Umm, any reason why I can’t run WELL again in the 100 after a 200 ?

If you do not have great fitness and SE levels, a 200 might take a bit out of you. For some it will help, for some it will hurt, for some it may make no difference. You probably know yourself best on this one.

Well as a heavier sprinter… I don’t have an astonishing SE.
I think i’ll go for a 100 then !

Can’t expect to run near PB again a few days after that right ???

Doing well overall … 11.1 is now my worst possible race- good confidence boost.

How would you change a normal 10 day taper if there is a contrast workout on day 10 ?
