Basically I’ve been looking around the forums and a lot of the terminology is just beyond me. Is there a particular book (articles?) I could read that would help ease me into it? I feel like there’s a lot of good information on these forums but I’m not fit to take it in (my book-knowledge if sprinting is very, very limited and I would like to increase it)
CFTS in a question and answer format covers just about everything related to sprinting and would surely help you increase your knowlegde.

I’ve read here a few times that a beginning sprinter shouldn’t start using blocks until he is “strong” enough. Strong in what way? Like explosive strength or weight lifting strength, or does it have more to do with sprint experience?
I don’t know what others think but I would start using them at the business end of the season. follow a plan
