Guys,
If youre looking to improve stride length, would it be a good idea to train to improve your vertical jump?
Would this keep hips higher therefore longer stride???

I would think developing a better vertical would equal better sprint performance, because you’re working on your squat as well as plyometrics, general idea.
i think building better sprint performance would equal better sprint performance.
ok I wasnt being very specific with what I said, I meant a better vertical will HELP one’s sprint performance.
And vice-versa. Does the sprinter have a good vert because he’s a good sprinter? Yes.
I’m pretty sure I have a 34 inch vertical.
Why isn’t just a flat out vertical jump considered plyometrics.
Amortization phase is too long. It should be a quick turn-over from the eccentric contraction to the concentric contraction. A typical CMJ
(counter movement jump) is just too slow to be considered an effective plyometric movement.
