I hope I get lots of responses for this.
I am currently having treatment for my back. Have been advised/told not to do weights or running for another 4 weeks, I’m going mad already.
I’m allowed to non weight bearing activity and use therabands for certain exercises.
I need to go back to specialists with a plan and prgramme of what I want to do.
I feel if I ask what I am capable of doing, this may include swimming, bodyweight exercises and theraband work.
Tempo work in the pool is not a problem.
Does anybody have suggestions what I could include or suggest?

Actually having chiropractic treatment 3 times a week to try and get some normality into it. Have develop disintegration in L 4, 5 & 6? and sidewards and forward movement in vertebra column. It is a chronic condition caused by throwing hammer and wear and tear.
That is as easy as I can explain it.

Would this rule out pullups or bench pressing, since there is no loading on or torsion of the spine?

Went back to chiropractor today.
I have been given the ok to start easy weights. Bodybuilding weights with higher reps and light weight.
So the only things I can’t do, for at least 3 weeks, is squat, deadlift, olympic lifting and run.
So I’m happy
