Training regimen for 200??

My son’s Football season ended Friday. He now wants to start preparing for track. We need to do it on our own, as the coaching here isn’t to savvy. We want to start training to peek around mid-March. I’m looking for the best system that would help put together complete workouts, including weightroom work. I know CF has several books and DVD’s, just wondering what would be the best one for our goals. Any help would be appreciated.
