I’m in the need of some assistance. I am working my spinters on some tempo runs. I am thinking of 10x200’s but I’m trying to figure out what % of their race time should they be running for tempo. I assumed it was 75-80%.
Please tell me is this sounds like too much (reps or distance ro percent). If so, please advise me to what would be appropriate for tempo runs for 100/200 sprinters.
65-75% of PB is standard for extensive tempo. Charlie has said it can go up to 80%, but he normally stays away and keeps the low low and the high high.
