STRUGGLING with endurance

3 point stance…

I understand, 60m ET (tape) coming soon, ill film next session.

I agree, an FAT 6.8 should translate to a sub 10.7 at least.

I would follow Charlie’s advice and just run some relaxed 100’s. Realize that after you hit top speed your not gonna go any faster by trying harder, just relax and maintain form to the finish. In my experience it will feel slower that way but the time will be much faster.

Thanks, i’ll deff take his advice.
dont think I can run 6.8 FAT right now… but i’ll put one on cam just to see where i am.

If 6.8 ist from a 3-point, you have to add 0.5-0.6 to a FAT-time…this would be7.3- 7.4 sec range…quite difficult to break 11 FAT without supirior SE

Strong, good accel, tying up near end of rep… 225pounds! Sounds to me like you’re just carrying too much weight. You clearly have a lot of muscle to feed, and your supplies are running out at the end of the rep. Guess you were looking for training tips, but thats my oppinion.

BTW i tried to go to 215 once and i was skinny and weak, nothing good came out of it.

At 6’2 and 215-225 pounds your shorter and heavier than most elite rowers: those guys aren’t skinny or weak.

you’re 19 years old.

if you arent committed to something by now, u should be…

u need to make an honest choice cuz unless ur getting recruited…im not sure what ur doing?

charlie, is a lack of ability to finish, like leonard scott or fasuba, a genetic thing or a training fault? will certain people just never be able to maintain speed well or is there something wrong with their training?

ive been playing basketball all my life at all levels, this is my game.
I thought i’d learn how to run too, i have 24 hours a day, so instead of playing video games i’m doing some sprint training. why ? because its fun.

btw is being 225lb that bad ? i know 260lbs football players who break 11.

What 260lb football players break 11fat? There are very few guys of your size that run fast in the 100m and rarely are they maximizing their potential. 225lbs may not be too big for your height, but it is definitely on the high end, esp if bodyfat is not minimized.
