Tm’s spikes were actually mass produced. but arn’t really avaliable anymore. pretty much anyone whose ever used them or the updated pair will vouch for them being useable up to an 800. very versitle spike. I am gonna have to disagree and say asafa is wearing spikes that for 99$ we could have if we so chose. so are all the nike guys at the moment.

asafa wearing the “powercats” with the white upper silver plate. is being released to the public in january. also wore by allen johnson this summer. alot better than the green color or the red color released last month.
really looks like the shoe i posted above. i think asafa is running in retail spikes. considering nike chose the green/black/yellow color for him and nicknamed it the “zoom JA” he probably should wear it. I can’t find a real good picture of the plate which would show if its actually the powercat or not, but it seems to be and the upper is obviously the same.

edit: anwsering the Q on Mo having custom spikes. he hasn’t been running much this year but none of the Adidas guys ever seem to run good at least in the short distance, Gay being the exception and his spikes don’t look like a production model. But Wariner uses the Adidas middle distance plate and a older deMolisher upper or so it appears.
