Peanut butter and nutella sandwich.
together? and the relevance is ?
Yes together… It’s one of my favorite treats, and perhaps it will heal me faster !!
But then I talked with a good friend, who told me to buy a tree of pineapples, which are loaded with proteolytic enzymes.
And I am also using Arnica and Ginger cream.
And all this because I cannot spend too much money on therapy right now.
But then that same friend reminded me that I am not competing in the Olympics in 10 days from now, so I have the option of waiting it out in peace.
I hate the idea of knowing there are great therapy options out there for whatever the purpose, and not always being able to access them … it’s like asking a climber “why on earth do you want to conquer that summit?” and he replies “because it’s there”. And it will eat him until he gets what he wants.
On another note, my room finally feels homey Because I brought art from home to decorate.
I am pineapple-full …
My next important buy is going to be an EMS. CF research time =)
Friday, March 6th:
I was THIS close to making a day-trip to Torino tomorrow to watch the European Championships live (and meet a couple of friends who are competing there), but I am soooo so tired these days, I really don’t want to travel more. TV will serve better.
Lots of pineapples and curry powder today.
And drawing.
And phd meeting went well.
I feel better.
Although I do have this training-anxiety … Outdoor season could very well start April 25th for me… and once more in my life, preparation is falling behind.
You might want to consider walking around barefoot…a lot…to overcome your lower leg injuries. Shoes do more harm than good
Lower legs >> fine these days
Current problem >> hamstring pull (grade 1)
Saturday, March 7th:
Sunday, March 8th:

I found my partner from India… we won everything. I had to fire the Iranian…
He wasn’t happy, but really, he should focus more… .

Tempo pace feels like crap. Not fatigue-wise (today felt easy anyway), but joint-wise.
Spikes on:
> 3x20m accelarations.
All fine =)
I just wish my metatarsal right toe was not crooked. It hurts!
> Upper body rebound reps.

Thursday, March 12th:
> 3hr + walking.
Since I hate public transportation (and for certain spots where I need to go it’s even non-existenet…), I am tempted to look for a bike.
> otherwise, OFF.
I need to see a psychologist, about always feeling guilty on off days.
Or I should just not have off days for the rest of my life.
Friday, March 13th:
Painting alllll day long, and it didn’t go well at allllll.
Beautiful day, btw …

I am happy, I ordered the EMS Compex Performance with the mi sensor for a friend (I will have it next week), and I will pretty much be using it until I go back to Greece for a bit (April 6th)
If I see that it helps me out (I need it mostly for recovery issues), I will purchase it as well.
(Rupert, please don’t ban me for this…

Going to Switzerland tomorrow for a change.
Just because I don’t give a …
:o
Thank you John …
Saturday, March 14th:, Switzerland
> 8 hours walking (one 1/2hour break) in the city and on the hills of Lugano, Switzerland, searching for every Mario Botta (architect) public and hidden private building possible, just because I always manage to befriend obsessive compulsive friends
Lugano is beautiful !!
But just imagine how my legs feel now.
Monday, March 16th:
> Warm up/20min isometrics
> 4x10m running A’s
> 10x40m @90%
> 400m cool down
> upper body rebound reps
we have an exchange student from Switzerland living with us for 3 months from July. Not exactly sure where exactly from though.
That should be interesting. They seem to live in a perfect little world !
But then, you live in New Zealand.
Tuesday, March 17th:
> warm up/isometrics (20minutes)
> 5x10m fast running A’s
> 7x40m, walk back recoveries, @95%.
Felt great, but oh my , my other hamstring had a cramp/contraction (whatever) on rep 7. I sound jocular about it today, but yesterday I wasn’t too happy.
(40m PR’s today, according to my timing, at least).
Back to pineapple therapy.
Wednesday, March 18th:
> Morning upper body rebound reps
> 3 laps easy jogging, no problems
> Easy 3x(10x10m), they were ok as well, but some tightness, so I didn’t do more.
> More upper body rebound reps.
No comments from me. It’s too late to vent.
