Star exerc is functional training for torso stability (or core stability) and it is done while standing in various leg position (paralel, diagonal) using HI-LO cable machine, making different movement with hand (one hand only)… doing this movements tends to create torque (in various planes) about low-back and your goal is to keep core stable developing motor programs that will protect you in real life movements… it have some similarities with PNF conditioning proposed by Mel Siff (diagonal, spiral movement patterns)
it can be used as GP exercise (LI) or replace for ab work
