Speeding up Recovery

Ah I see what you mean, its like high intensity work, when speed is being performed you dont feel fatigued, but it is working youre nervous system like crazy.

Would you consider all messages stressing or just deep tissue?

Just to clear things up any stimulus to the body is stress.

Then you have to consider the trade off and the timeframe. Light flushing massage is stress but you get over it quickly. ART or some kind of deeper therapy can take a day or longer to recover from. It’s kind of like sprints vs tempo I guess. Of course even light massage would take its toll on you if you had it for 8 hours a day :slight_smile: :smiley:

What about sleeping position? Could that effect recovery? Could it effect posture/muscle length during the day time?

What about postural habits throughout the day?
Slouching V upright for example.
