Hello, I want to become as fast as possible on the 40-60m, as you never sprint 100m on a soccerpitch.
So, I have access to a gym, and a track and field… field (or whatever it’s called).
I know it might be alot to ask, but can anyone of you construct or atleast hint about how I should do my strenght/track training?
How many repetitions/sets, how many sprints etc.?
Thank you

The questions are pretty much general and the answer can be very long.
Why don’t you invest some money into DVDs and books?
Try to get:
CFTS e-book
GPP DVD
Functional Training for Sports by Michael Boyle
Designing Strength Training programs and Facilities by Boyle
The coaches strength training playbook by Joe Kenn
Starting Strength by Rippetoe
Practical Programming by Rippetoe
No Bull Speed Development Manual by Kelly Bagget
…

Hmm… No:P I guess I run like max 30m each sprint. I want to focus mainly on acceleration, but good pace wouldn’t hurt either!
I know it’s pretty general, yes. Oh and I can’t afford all those DVD’s and books, and my mom would think I’m crazy if she saw all those books and DVD’s, if I had bought them. I hate that she can’t accept that I’m chasing my dream… (Bla bla bla) Anyway, did this help any? So that you hopefully can help me? :S:)
