Same day recovery between games

I’ve got 2 games on saturday with start times 8 hours apart. What are your thoughts on recovery between them?

I was thinking contrast shower and ice bath but I’m unsure if a contrast shower will relax my CNS too much for the second game. Thoughts?

I’d just contrast shower after the first game. I don’t think an ice bath is really necessary. Try to get a massage a few days before.
