i see a lot of sprinters like to include romanian deadlift in their weight room program, and i know that the bending should be done at the hips, not with the back, but everytime i try to do this lift i just feel a lot of stress being put on my back and none on my legs. is it worth doing this exercise if im not feeling it in my legs, or must i be doing something wrong? thanks…
Start with hypers, hyper complex, pull through, rev hypers, glute ham.
so are you saying increase my strength thorugh these exercises and try romanians deadlifts again later? or just forget about it and substitute those exercises? thanks
Both. Get stronger and try later then drop them if it doesnt work.
thanks very much everyone, the article was very helpful and i’ll try those exercises lifted by football28
Yea both… What I do is preform a main exercise such as deadlifts or squats for x amount of reps/sets (e.g., 5x5) then afterwords I do 2-3 exercises like pull throughs or reverse hyper for 4-5 sets of 10x15.
You got to find what works for you. The outline above works for me.
sounds good to me, thanks
