Proper foot-strike(walking/running)

I came across some barefoot running sites, and they all seem to give the same message: landing on the heels is wrong, and you should land ball/heel/ball. This surprised me actually…because heel striking feels more natural to me.

What does the forum of CF.com say ?

In sprinting, you do not want to land on the heel. Not sure why you would.

Not sure this applies as much, but got plantar fascitis last year from improperly landing too heel heavy during triple jumps, just magnified to me the problem of landing heel ball instead of ball heel ball.

Nah I meant running, jogging, or walking

I take it they meant running and not walking? Going ball/heel/ball when walking seems a little extreme (except for ninjas and very timid people).

When running I go ball/heel/ball, but when walking I go a very pronounced heel first.

LOL man I love ninjas.
