Presidential poll

Very funny link on the voting process in Florida…

This would be more funny if it wasn’t so close to the mark!

I’m constantly reminded of H.L. Menken’s observation that democracy is the theory that the average person knows what kind of government he should have and deserves to get it good and hard.

It’s good to see Wonka has had the best third party candidacy since Perot in '92.

Churchill once said: “Democracy, like sausage, is best not seen in the making.”

Kerry’s Flip Flop Olympics is pretty funny

Kerry flip flops, while Bush is consistent. “W” is a flop at all times.

“Bushgame”: http://bushgame.com,

This is the funniest game I’ve ever played and the most informational. YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS GAME. It’s educational while at the same time you’ll die of laughter. Every American should see this, if they did John Kerry would win by a landslide! :stuck_out_tongue:

Real men vote for “w”

I still remember Kerry coming to philly during the democratic primaries and asking for swiss cheese on his philly cheese steak. Even the philadelphia inquirer, a staunch left wing newspaper, called Kerry out on that one…

Play this game and then tell me that you still favor Bush!

“Bushgame”: http://bushgame.com

I still vote Bush. Dont believe everything in the liberal media.

“The democracy has the right to answer questions, but it has no right to ask them. It is still the political aristocracy that asks the questions. And we shall not be unreasonably cynical if we suppose that the political aristocracy will always be rather careful what questions it asks.” - G.K. Chesterton

G Dubya is going down…

Would be nice, but, given the fix they pulled last time, how can anyone imagine they’ll let go of power now that they’ve had 4 years in power to fix everything?
Remember that officially FAMU and FSU voted 90% for Bush in Florida last time! Kinda says it all, doesn’t it? Sadly, international election observers have been denied access and the monitoring will be by Ashcroft’s Gestapo.
I have that same feeling in the pit of my stomach that I had in 1972 before the re-election of Nixon. Perhaps there will be more parallels.
Within 2 years Agnew was indicted for contract fixes. Now the Haliburton thing could blow up on Cheney. The CBC aired docs showing approval for the no-bid contracts from the office of the VP. If proof comes out about election fraud and vote-rigging, Bush might go down as hard as Nixon did.

This is partly true. Skull and Bones has Masonic connections but was formed as an extension of the Bavarian Illuminati in the 1840’s. It’s true that the skull and bones motif is a masonic symbol of mortality, however it is not directly connected to the pirates skull and cross bones - they both have common templar origins, but are not directly associated. It’s also a fact that masons founded the most enduring intitution in the USA - the USA government.

BTW Kerry is a Bonesman too …

I know exactly where you’re coming from…

However, I think the democrats are ready this year with an Army of lawyers and poll watchers. Plus, I’m confident Kerry will pick up enough swing States not to need Florida. And we know the dark side has a foothold in that State…

Trust me… I’ve helped register 10 voters (college students) that’s never voted -they are not polled because they only use a cell phone for communication. Things are happening on a grass roots level…

Why compare Ascroft to Gestapo?

The Nazis used the Reichstag fire to suspend German rights. Ashcroft and his cronies have used 9/11 to get around the safeguards of the Constitution with the Patriot Act - the suspension of basic rights to the expectation of privacy, against unreasonable search and siezure, not to be held without a charge or a lawyer, the right to a speedy trial, etc.
These rights, along with the checks and balances of the legislative and congressional branches against Executive excesses are the foundation of Liberty.
The Nazis burned books. Now Ashcroft wants access to what books you are reading. What’s next?
Ignore all this at your peril.
