wind -1.8

With my wind/altitude conversions, its a 9.98 with 0 wind. No improvement from jamaican nats yet…

10.07 becomes 9.98? What planet are you living on?
1 A win by that margin
2 rain sufficient to slow up the women big time- SAF 11.03 with 0 wind
3 -1.8 headwind
Just another example of conversions… I’ll say no more

lol going by that calculator, but i guess the altitude is also taken into account.

I wasnt watching, so not aware of the rain, but ya rodgers at 10.30… guess that explains more

looks like a nice improvement to me.

ya just realized now, hopefully right conditions and he can go 9.8 in rome.

BTW what was this, race 9? or 10?

Rodgers had passport issues. Flew to Europe and had to go right back. So there and back and then back to Europe again in a short time span.

That sure doesn’t help!!

10.07 into -1.8 in the rain…guys like frater ndure were running about .3 sec slower than their PB …this is a good race by Powell…

look how uncomfortable Powell looked before the start
you can see how heavy the rain was while they were on the blocks
Definently in the 9.9 range, he is slowly finding form

The front on close up shows that he has lost some of that weight around the shoulders, and has become quite cut - looks very fit. Similar to how he has looked Post WC/Oly previous years

Does any have a link to the women’s 100 & 200?

Thanks in advance.

lol wtf!!

The video footage has been superb.

It looked to me as though Powell is not “sitting” as much over the last 40m as we’ve seen in the past. That was a completely dominant performance. Wow the Jamaicans are looking good for Berlin, maybe especially because they know Gay will be waiting for them there.

Yeah it looks likes his strides are shorter but are coming a lot faster

watch the front on from 1.50 and see how much of the lane he covers going L then right over to the other side.

Yes, I agree, his body looks different.
