I saw this and thought is was interesting to see a different point of view of something that I think might be accomplished by hill work.

I was on some forum on the web, and one guy mentioned this:

i am not familiar at all with the pose technique but in this article above it illustrates heel toe,midfoot and the pose technique.

my opinion is if you get any person taken off the street with no clue about running and challenge them to a test they will naturally run identical to this pose technique.any fully abled person will get onto this position as speed increases.you ask anyone to jog and the untrained will run heel toe which is great but ask them to run as fast as possible and its the pose technique.

my point is…how can you call natural running X technique.my 4year old nephew to my dad at the age of 65 can achieve this by speed alone without any coaching.people have a natural ability to sense the action of the pose technique when told to run fast over 40m by no means will they run heel toe.no way…
