Go! is available at athletes.com for pretty cheap.
How do you find it? I can’t locate it on their site.
I have used EAS, Optimum Nutrition as well as Body Tech (The Vitamin Shoppe brand I think).
I have only used whey protein, no other supplements.
EAS gave good results but it tasted decent. Body tech wasn’t that great. Optimum Nutrition is pretty good and it tastes the BEST!
Musashi - Almost everything
EAS - for creatine (for those on a budget)
FROST - Antioxidant
SIS - GO Gels (for anyone doing endurance events)
Fish oils = Omegabrite
Whey Protein= Blackstarlab’s Whey Supremacy
Anti-0x= Frost (no joke)
PWO- Cytofuse (watermelon flavor)
ZMA - Biotest
Current Casein = GROW (low carb Banana)
Preworkout= Firebird PRO
What is that?
It’s like GO! and ergopharm’s ATP combined (custom run for my athletes)
Is there another place to order Cytofuse? I ordered from bodybuilding.com but they say that it is discontinued.
Xcell is no longer but the product is now owned by BSL and is used for NCAA teams and special orders.
BSL = Black Star Labs?
How do they use it for NCAA teams? If I remember correctly it is against NCAA regs to mix drinks for athletes.
Will it be on BSL website soon? I was reccomended it by a colleage and ordered two jugs of it, liked it and then it was discontinued.
Would it be the same to get BSL Whey supremecy and just add dextrose and maltodextrin?

- Gatorade?
PWO blends must be no more than 30% of the calories from protein…
Whey Supremacy and a high gi combo should be fine.
So how does one go about getting xcell.
I was under the assumption that is why all supplements at the colege level are premixed.
Cyofuse is premixed but you must add water. RTDs are popular but many contain soy protein but have cool prism boxes with lazer graphics! you can call them at 630-444-1800
Muscle milk is 40% protein an contains sugar and MCT fats. It must be 85% or higher to be a protein powder. Also the fats in MM become rancid very quickly.
I have used muscle milk for a while now and it is by far the best that i have used for taste and results!
Cytosport - Musclemilk and Cytomax
Universal - Multivitamin
Primaforce - WPI substance(whey), Lean Green(green tea extract)
no more than 30% If PWO are generally just pro’s and carbs then are suggesting about 2.5:1 carbs to pros or I’m I missing something…
Clemson, since Cytofuse is no longer available online (at least not anywhere I can find it), is there a way to order it from BSL at all? I’m down to my last bottle, and I love the stuff. I’d hate for it to be permanently unavailable, since this is the only PWO formula I’ve used that I’ve found effective, not to mention it tastes great. If it is the case that this excellent product is no longer available to the general public, do you recommend a readily accessible alternative for post-workout nutrition?
On another note, has anyone here used Spike, by Biotest? I’ve read a lot about it where people swear that it’s the greatest thing to ever hit the supplement world, but I’m a bit leery of trying the product just because I dont know much about the ingredients and whether it would be a banned substance. Opinions on it anyone?
Biotest’s Spike is sometimes used for those with issues in concentration and I am still very angry with the industry not building more nootropic agents. I find with student athletes products like Spike are nice options for those with larger budgets.
MisterC- You can call the number above for open source version of cytofuse. No frills just product.
RandyG,
The NCAA has specific guidelines with the amount of protein an athlete can consume. It will take some change before they will allow more progress at the college level.
Clemson,
Is BSL out of Chicago area? 630 is a chicago burbs area code.
BSL is in St.Charles, Illinois
Biotest is in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Omegabrite is in Waltham, Massachusetts
