Plyo ground contacts/ session.

Could not find in the archives, I know this has been talked about before.

Charlie, what amount of ground contacts per session of plyometrics would you recomend if plyo’s are being performed 3 times per weak? Currently my weight training is of very low volume and I am doing just 2 maximum sprints per sprint session also 3 times per weak.

So, although my C.N.S reserves will be good, I cannot over estimate the importance of C.N.S recovery and the mechanical stress of plyo’s can be quite high right? I want plyo’s to be the focal point of my training at the momment. Mainly high intensity.

What is considered high, medium and low volume for plyometric contacts per session?

Any one else want to chip in?

Think Charlie recommends no more than 30-40 contacts within a session (30ins or less).

Going up and going over one can add more volume.
