I would like to know how would you guys periodize a 6 month training program for maximum strength and power? Meaning, at the end of 6 months, Id like to be very explosive (sprinting, jumping). How would you divide 6 months into different training phases. Thanks!
Here’s what I came up with:
week 1-4 Hypertrophy/General Strength
week 5-10 Build Max Strength
week 11-14 max strength/speed strength
week 15-20 power/explosiveness
week 21-24 conditioning/energy system training/maintain strength
