I had an MRI a few days ago and was diagnosed with a partial insertional achilles tear. It is nearly 1cm in length :mad: . It is not very sore at the moment and i can do run throughs without much pain and also can perform all my drills and weights without pain.
Eccentric exercise seem to help a lot so i have started a program. I want to get back as soon as possible
My question is how do you rehab this tendon? What should i be supplementing it with? How long can i expect to have off sprinting?
Any help will be much appreciated.
