Need more speed.

I figured I’ll ask this since I am sure there are probably many ways to achieve this.

I currently run 2.6 miles every other day at ~ a 7:00/mile pace. I want to be faster. Any suggestions that I can pick from to accomplish this?

Work on your short game to improve running mechanics and efficiency. It transfers well to the longer stuff, resulting in more bang for your buck - or better performance with the same or less energy cost.

Do you have any links that point to some quality workouts?

check out ( i think that is the spelling, who knows at this time of nite).
also, purchase Better training for distance runners written by Coe. Nice book for the library.
