My physiotherapist said that nat. GHR will mess up your knees b/c of all the stress and weight you place on them thorughout the movement (event with padding underneath).
Is there any merit to this b/c i know alot of ppl do this exersise.

I have asked that a dozen times with no real answer. I certainly don’t feel like it’s the safest exercise with my 200lb body using my kneecaps as a fulcrum. Sometimes I wonder if all the people who say how safe & comfortable it is have ever done a natural ghr.
I weigh a bit over 200 lbs as well and have done natural GHRs without a problem. You just have to get enough padding under the knees.
